I started to learn how to paint and draw in 2010, and I learned the art of photography after buying my first digital slr. The Isle of Harris is a wonderful place for inspiration and subject matter for art, plenty of picture postcard locations like beautiful soft and sandy beaches, dramatic mountains, lochs and rivers, wildlife such as seals, otters, eagles, deer, and attractions like the callanish standing stones, blackhouses, carloway broch and the art gallery in Stornoway. My art teacher is Ivor Mackay.
